But a 1956 Chevy Bel Air that sat in a garage for about six years and The team At Smith Specialty Automotive help to bring the car back to life, and did a great job while working to keep the price as affordable as possible.

I was struggling with my car dying immediately after being turned on for a few days and finally made a few calls to different mechanics. Prior to finding smith, I was quoted thousands of dollars and up to 3 weeks turn around time! Michael answered the phone and was very inviting and informative. He made it a priority to get my car fixed as quickly and reasonably as possible. I felt very welcome in their shop and the entire process made a stressful situation easier. Mike helped me during my pickup, he thoroughly went over the invoice and reviewed the issues my car was having. He went above and beyond! I am so grateful to their team! My car is running better than ever after only a week! If you are ever looking for a trustworthy mechanic, this is it!!

I called about getting my catalytic converter shield installed and they said to bring on in. It only took them 15 minutes to install and only charged me $54. Great guys! I will definitely use their service in the future.

July 28, 2026 Monday 7am: My 2006 Toyota Sienna A/C died in severe heat: 104 locally. Was referred by my son who got work done previous year.  By 11am  received text estimate with complete outline of AC fixes and cost, and other vehicle recommends which I turned down for present.  After choosing via text, it showed the final cost of what I chose, and what I didn't choose, and the totals for each. I signed, and called in to Michael to confirm work to be done by next evening Tues (One day later) as we needed it done by Wed. (2 days later for leaving town back to California). 11:30, called local toyota dealer for comparative estimate which turned out lower, but would take 2-3 days just to get the parts. Tues: 5pm, After speaking in person with Michael and the extra work needed that was not Itemized in the Toyota comparison. He revised the estimate lower that was a happy medium for both parties. And it was done several days AHEAD of what Toyota Dealership would have done only a mile away. Very happy with the work done, and Michael & Jordans personal communications. . Only caution, is that if your on limited budget, to get a second opinion for items you may not be clear on. I give them 5/5 STARS for Repair, Service, and Quick turn around 1 day. WOW.
